Cycleenergy

Cycleenergy commissioned an integrated light installation to make the otherwise invisible process of energy production legible within the company’s main production hall. The task was to translate live operational data into a spatial layer running directly along the machinery itself, turning the building’s industrial infrastructure into a continuous, readable display.

More than 200 meters of addressable LED lines trace the core machinery throughout the hall. Flow, temperature, and material speed are mapped onto the equipment in real time through dynamic colour and motion patterns – each value finding its own rhythm across the surfaces it describes. The production line becomes its own animated diagram, narrating the transformation unfolding inside it.

A wall-mounted touch display complements the lighting system, offering visitors a guided overview of the full production cycle and contextual information about the processes on the floor below. The hall becomes both working environment and exhibit – machinery and information rendered as a single, living surface.
