Haus der Digitalisierung

The Haus der Digitalisierung serves as the central hub for Lower Austria’s digital transformation strategy—a public space designed to make digitalization tangible for a broad audience. The exhibition required a spatial concept that could communicate complex, data-driven topics in an accessible and visually engaging way.

The central element is a 360° LED wall that functions as the spatial backbone of the exhibition. Three data-driven real-time 3D scenes visualize live information streams from local, regional, and global sources, translating abstract data into dynamic visual narratives. A high-performance synchronized video playback system handles linear content between scene transitions.

Surrounding interactive stations offer hands-on engagement with digitalization themes, connecting individual exploration to the immersive ambient layer of the central installation. The design positions the visitor within a continuous flow of information—making data visible, physical, and experiential rather than abstract. Winner of the Art Directors Club Award 2023.
