BMW Escape Room
Developed for BMW’s Research and Development headquarters in Munich, this project delivers a gamified training experience designed to foster collaboration across departments. The installation consists of two identical rooms built around dynamic interaction and minimalist spatial principles.
Each room features a seamless 360-degree projection across all four walls, with touch monitors embedded directly into the architecture. A dedicated sound system enhances spatial immersion, while electronically controlled smart-glass walls transition between transparent and opaque states to support the game’s narrative flow.
The experience simulates a futuristic virtual production line. Teams must solve challenges collaboratively in real time, coordinating actions to keep the system running. Puzzles are designed to require cross-departmental cooperation—transforming individual problem-solving into shared achievement.
The design merges physical architecture with digital environment, creating a space where training objectives and team-building unfold through play. The room becomes both stage and interface—functional, immersive, and purpose-driven.
